I spent all day yesterday with a sick kid. M woke up in the early morning with a migraine headache and it was downhill from there. She got sick in the early afternoon and it continued throughout the day. She was totally miserable and there wasn't anything I could really do to help. My job amounted to giving her some Tylenol, rubbing her temples, and trying to make her comfortable.
Oh, and emptying the puke bowl.
I could live my whole life without ever having to do that again.
There are other things I could live without too...not that I don't want to do any of them, it's just that if I've gone 35 years and haven't done them yet I could probably go another 35 without feeling like I missed out on anything. So here are some things I have never done:
1. Eaten at White Castle. Or In And Out.
2. Drank a cup of coffee.
3. Gotten a hot stone massage.
4. Milked a cow. Okay, this one I totally want to do someday I just haven't ever had the opportunity.
5. Gotten a facial.
6. Owned a brick home. Although this is my favorite style, our homes have all been sided or rocked.
7. Watched an episode of Jersey Shore.
8. Posted anything on You Tube.
9. Shot a gun.
10. Been inside a barn.
11.Shopped at Abercrombie.
12. Broken a bone.
13.Seen the Twilight series.
14. Been arrested. Although in my height of debauchery and wildness I probably deserved to be.
15. Had a king size bed.
16. Eaten Nutella.

Wow! I have done all of those, with the notable exceptions of 8, and 14. I can make number 9 happen for you easily enough, and I think you might like it. If you are interested at all, I would be more than happy to take you and Benny out. You guys will have a blast.
I am laughing at the thought of you getting a facial! :)
And just a clarification on #14 because of your pd experience- I only deserved it because public intoxication is illegal - not because I was doing other bad things! I promise! Although a group of friends and I did break into the old Guthrie orphanage once because we were told it was haunted. Sooooo I guess public intoxicatin AND breaking and entering...yeah,so this isn't sounding so great...
I might be interested in shooting - why not? Benny has shot before, many times. He used to hunt and do all that other country boy stuff...I however, have not had that experience. Do you go to a gun range?
This may be interesting...
Trust me - I was laughing too. My sister-in-law was doing the Mary Kay thing, and she needed a certain number of demos. So, I, being the nice guy that I am, agreed to get a facial when my wife got hers.
Don't worry about the Guthrie orphanage deal. I too made my way in there with some friends.
Yes, we normally go to H & H in OKC. I would want to have a little firearms safety session before going to shoot, but I guarantee you would have a good time.
Okay, the Mary Kay thing makes sense. Your man card has been reactivated. LOL
I'm pretty sure everyone I knew broke into the orphanage...man that was a night! I may have to blog about that some time!
Let me talk to the hubby and maybe we can make the shooting thing happen...but you have to bring some Nutella so I can cross that one off too!
Deal! I'll message you my number. Just let me know.
